With direct-to-plate and the elimination of film, why do changes still cost extra?
The great advantage of direct-to-plate is the elimination of film and stripping time. However, entering a digital file, make the necessary changes, and re-ripping the file, all take time and have associated costs. The advantage to the customer is the time saved in making such changes, overall the costs should be lower.

What is the best way to send my files over the internet?
To send smaller files 4 Meg. or less, traditional e-mail will more than suffice. For larger files, you can send them via FTP to our server. Simply go to the "Upload A File" page on this site for instructions.

Do you die-cut in house?
No, however we offer these services to our clients and have expertise in handling all aspects of die-cutting. We carefully consider the project and work with the appropriate vendor that best meets those needs.

Does the brand of printing press affect the quality of the printed product?
Absolutely! Heidelberg presses are well renowned for their ability to produce the sharpest dot with the least amount of streaking, and the best color consistency throughout the press run.

What is direct-to-plate, and why is it beneficial?
Direct-to-plate elimates the film making process of placing images on the printing plate. The elimination of an analog generation is akin to the difference in recording of records to CD's. The quality is vastly improved and the cost is less!

Are you a full service facility?
Yes! From in-house design, to scanning, printing, folding and stitching, we do it all. If there are operations that we cannot do in house, we have close relationships with specialty vendors so that we eliminate the need to shop around for services.

What sets Wolf ColorPrint apart from area competitors?
