Scanning

Wolf ColorPrint currently offers drum 4-color scanning:

• Crossfield 6250 Casc (Drum scanner): this high-end scanner accepts up to 20" X 28" originals and produces some of the highest quality scans available in the market today.

Scanning services include:

• Scan to disc: Image digitized and placed on a disc for customer placement.
• Scan with loose color: Image digitized and a loose color proof provided (see proofing in Service menu for description of options).
• Photo retouching: Photo corrected or enhanced per customer's specifications (priced at hourly rate).

Digital Proofing

Epson 10000 Color Inkjet
This proofing system delivers a high resolution, color calibrated contract proof that is acceptable for most color applications. While this proof does not reproduce the exact dot structure that will be represented on the printing plate, the color calibration and detail are an excellent representation of the final printed product. It is a less expensive proofing option to the Kodak Approval (listed below).

Epson 9800 Matchprint Color Proofing System
The latest wide-format printer from Epson represents a level of unprecedented technology. Combining the extreme precision of a Stylus Pro print engine, along with the extraordinary performance of UltraChrome K3 Ink technology, Epson has once again redefined the future of wide-format printing.

Kodak Approval XP4
The Approval has become the industry standard for digital contract proofing. Wolf ColorPrint's system is configured to show the exact dot structure that will appear in the printing plate to be printed. This system allows for the proof to be mounted to the actual job paper stock, which adds the actual stock brightness or color as well as surface variable to the proof process.
